Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Summary
Accudyn seeks a first shift shipping and receiving clerk who can work in a high-energy environment to help deliver quality products to our customers. The ideal shipping and receiving clerk can perform the following job functions in compliance with our internal ISO policies, procedures, work instructions, and our external customer expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
These include the following, but additional duties may be assigned:

  • Prepare packing slips and bill of lading for outgoing shipments and schedule pickup of same per customer instructions.
  • Complete ASN (advanced shipping notices) where required by customer – after product has been shipped.
  • Prepare outgoing UPS , DHL, FedEx, and other required shipping paperwork and labels.
  • Secure logistics quotes as requested.
  • Participate in cycle counting activities.

Competencies

  • Capable of multi-tasking and the ability to prioritize activities in the warehouse area to ensure a safe and efficient operation.

  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, superiors, and subordinates verbally and in writing.
  • Have knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft Office suite and other basic software.
  • IQMS experience is a plus!
  • Forklift certification is not required but would be ideal.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school education (diploma or GED)

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud due to various machines running.
