ERIE, Pennsylvania, January 9th, 2024 – Accudyn Products, Inc., a global leader in precision plastic manufacturing solutions, is pleased to announce plans to open a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Costa Rica in 2025. This strategic expansion marks an exciting milestone for Accudyn, reinforcing the company’s commitment to providing the highest level of service and advanced manufacturing capabilities to its customers while positioning Accudyn to support the thriving medical device and electronics markets in Costa Rica.

The Accudyn Costa Rica manufacturing operation is being developed inside Evolution Free Zone in Grecia, Costa Rica, the latest development of CODE Development Group. This multi-million-dollar investment includes development of a 40,000 square foot facility which will house cutting edge injection molding and support equipment, fully equipped quality lab, tool and die support, generous office space, training areas, and on-site order fulfillment. The facility will be designed to meet the growing demands of Accudyn’s customer base while maintaining the company’s standards for excellence and sustainability. With a focus on precision injection molding and integrated quality systems, Accudyn will manufacture engineered plastic components and aims to provide innovative solutions to its customers.

The strategic location of the facility will offer streamlined logistics, allowing for efficient distribution to customers across North and South America. “Accudyn’s commitment to manufacturing in Costa Rica is very welcome news for me,” says Steve Norris, CEO of Norstar International. “Having Accudyn as a local supplier for the engineering plastic parts that are used in our products will provide enormous efficiencies to our supply chain.”

Likewise, the Accudyn Costa Rica facility will be aligned with Accudyn’s broader environmental responsibility goals by developing energy-efficient systems and practices to minimize its carbon footprint.

Accudyn is a company that is committed to supporting the communities where they do business and looks forward to getting to know their new “home” in Costa Rica. “We know that our workforce in Costa Rica, like our other plants, will be the key to our success.
