Erie Gives Day 2018 was a tremendous success. The Erie community showed their generosity by donating over $4.4 million to 381 local nonprofits in just twelve hours! It was an incredible day to see the entire community come together and give back.

We are extremely proud to see the number of people from Accudyn who donated this year. Accudyn has always been a supporter of Erie Gives Day and has encouraged all employees to find a cause close to their heart and donate. Accudyn also matched every single donation given on this day from employees!  Not only did our employees donate $8,825 to 31 different nonprofits, but with the employer match, a total of $17,650 was donated to The Erie Community Foundation. The Erie Community Foundation also matched a percentage of the total amount donated to each nonprofit.

Erie Gives Day is a reminder that we are surrounded by great people who care about their community and want to be involved in helping others by donating to a nonprofit they are passionate about. This was truly an amazing day and we are certain that these donations will make a positive impact in our local community.
